The name 313 is Detroit's area code, a tribute to the city that inspired everything we do.
What started as a humble food trailer in Austin quickly grew into something much bigger. Word spread fast that Via 313 pizza was unlike anything else in the Lone Star State — a rectangular masterpiece with caramelized cheese edges, a pillowy interior, and sauce ladled right on top. Today, via313 stands as the premier destination for authentic Detroit-style pies in Cedar Park, TX and beyond.

Brandon Hunt and Zane Hunt, brothers from Detroit, launch Via 313 as a food trailer on Rainey Street in Austin, TX. Armed with their grandmother's recipe and a passion for Motor City pizza, they introduced Texans to the square pie.
Demand outgrew the trailer. Via 313 opens its first permanent restaurant in South Austin, bringing the full Detroit-style experience — dining room, bar, and all — to a rapidly growing fanbase.
Food media takes notice. Via 313 earns features in Eater, Texas Monthly, and Zagat as one of the top pizza destinations in the South. The via313 name becomes synonymous with Detroit-style excellence outside of Michigan.
With two additional Austin locations now open, Via 313 begins franchising conversations. The signature steel blue-and-orange aesthetic and menu are standardized to maintain the authentic via 313 experience across all locations.
The Cedar Park location at 1335 E Whitestone Blvd opens to enormous community enthusiasm. The new space features an expanded menu, private dining room for catering events, and the beloved open kitchen that lets guests watch their pizza come to life.
Via 313 officially launches its franchise program, making it possible for passionate pizza lovers across the United States to bring the authentic via 313 Detroit-style experience to their own communities.
